So the big question everyone is asking is, &#8220;Should I take advantage of the free upgrade?&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Well, there&#8217;s a few things that you should consider:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Is everything working fine in my current installation? \u00a0There&#8217;s the old adage, &#8220;If it ain&#8217;t broke; don&#8217;t fix it&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>I personally don&#8217;t find anything compelling enough in the Windows 10 environment that screams UPGRADE! There are a few new features, but nothing the standard user would probably use.<\/li>\n<li>Do I have a full image type backup of my system? I have had a number of customers that have brought their systems in after performing the &#8220;upgrade&#8221;. They&#8217;ve made either bad decisions during the process or the upgrade &#8220;glitched&#8221; and they lost everything and required a full re-installation of their system.
